How to Repair a Cracked Brick Wall
Weather, gravity and bad maintenance can all lead to cracks in your home’s brick walls. This is why it’s important to repair them as soon as possible, before they get worse and cost more money to fix.
The first thing you should do when cracked brick wall repair is to inspect it thoroughly. Doing so can help you identify the problem and determine what repairs are necessary.
Some cracks in brick walls are a sign of foundation trouble and need to be addressed immediately. Other cracks can be cosmetic, but if left unrepaired, they can grow larger and become structural problems that require more extensive work to correct.
Most brick walls deteriorate due to temperature changes and freezing/thawing cycles. This is because any water that’s trapped in the bricks freezes and thaws, putting pressure on the bricks over time.
